How It's Going Mixtape Edition
How It's Going Mixtape Edition takes the album How It's Going and expands the frame, adding bonus tracks, hand-drawn artwork and a special bonus song. Each offering is hand-crafted by me, and each one is different.
There are two main categories for the box set: a burned album CD with an additional song: a rare, one-of-a-kind recording exclusive to the specific box set. The usb drive contains the entire album, a twenty-four page pdf of the liner notes, song demos, outtakes and b-sides, and said rare recording.
Every box comes with a pile of goodies:
A 5"x5" sticker of the album cover, an additional 4"x4" sticker (random), a bookmark, an original ink sketch/doodle done by myself, an original handwritten lyric sheet on canvas board, and a coozie.
All doodles, song lyrics and mixtape song versions are exclusive and singular to each mixtape box. Every single piece is different and there are no copies. If you buy one mixtape box, those three pieces are going to be absolutely different than another mixtape box.
The sketches and handwritten lyric sheets are originals, not prints.
Mixtape box songs are labeled by their song and mixtape number. So, for example, let's say you buy mixtape edition no. 053. It might contain a special recording of the song "ANIMAL" called "Mixtape #053." If you buy a mixtape box and get an acoustic guitar version of "Have an Alaskan Party," with additional and/or altered lyrics (?), that acoustic guitar version will only exist (a) on the mixtape's How It's Going CD and (b) in the mixtape USB. The owner of the mixtape box is free to share their exclusive song if they want with the larger public (YouTube, baby.) If not, they possess the only commercial copy of that recording in the world. The only other person with the recording is me.
This is, more than anything, supposed to be fun.
