I began writing this thing a long time ago and, after much hemming and hawing, have split it up into more manageable sections. This is Part One, in which I discuss AI Music and its possible futures, Olivia Wilde's dreadful movie Don't Worry, Darling, the start of the 21st Century, the modern world after WWII and its current dissipation, art and commerce, information collapse, and authenticity in music and its production.

I'm no academic, merely an average joe who writes on the side, so take everything with a bag of salt.
